Bunk Amsterdam presents The Node North at ADE 2025 24 September 2025

From 20–26 October 2025, during Amsterdam Dance Event, Bunk Amsterdam will host The Node North: a vibrant creative hub in the heart of Amsterdam Noord. More than just a hotel, Bunk becomes the stage for an innovative programme spanning music, art and even a mental and physical health coach for electronic music professionals.

With The Node North, Bunk creates a temporary meeting point and cultural incubator for the global electronic music community. Guests and visitors alike are invited to experience an inspiring mix of nightlife, creativity, and wellbeing — all under one roof.

While this marks the launch of The Node North, it is not a one-off. The concept will return as part of Bunk’s annual ADE programming in the years to come, growing into a signature fixture of the festival.

The Node North’s diverse line-up celebrates nightlife, electronic music and the culture that surrounds them in all forms.

highlights:

• Art Expo: “We Meet at Night” – a group exhibition featuring selected works by leading local nightlife photographers Cleo Campert, Noah Schielen, Rachel Ecclestone, Raymond van Mil and 36framez in which they present their diverse visual perspectives on the energy of night culture.
• Artist Residencies – Ben Spaander, also known as Cosmic Force, moves his fully modular studio to Bunk to co-create new music on the spot with Ultrastation. During The Node North they will jam and play while recording a series of samples and loops to be sold as a unique sample pack via Splice.
• Mental & Physical Health & Industry Support – for electronic music professionals, a mental health coach from platform Solsync is available daily for free individual sessions, coaching and workshops focused to empower you to set and achieve your mental or physical health goals and to find balance within the demanding industry.
• Music Not Diving Podcast – A series of special ADE recordings, with guests from across the international electronic scene, for the influential industry podcast Music Not Diving (created by DJ/producer/label head Scuba), will be recorded at Bunk’s The Node North.
• Networking/mixers – Bunk’s restaurant acts as the perfect spot for meetings both planned and spontaneous with connections old and new, as various networking drinks will be held throughout the week.

With The Node North, Bunk highlights the evolving role that hybrid hotels can play in nightlife (sub)culture: not only as accommodation for travellers and revellers, but as safe havens, creative playgrounds and platforms for meaningful encounters. Centrally located in Amsterdam Noord, Bunk provides an easy, accessible spot for international visitors, artists, and locals to come together during ADE.

ABOUT Bunk

Bunk Amsterdam is a modern hybrid hotel and cultural meeting space housed in the former St. Rita Church – a striking monumental building just minutes from Amsterdam Central Station. Its design preserves the church’s original brick arches and timber ceilings while introducing floating modular rooms and communal pods. Guests and visitors are invited to explore and perhaps discover the building’s many hidden spots including a secret staircase, tucked-away library, recording studio and basement bunker, all of which will be activated as part of The Node North during ADE.
