Join us for the opening of our latest exhibition by artist Sander van Laar.
Sander van Laar (1979, Veenendaal) graduated with honours from a professional photography school in 2012. His passion lies in photography, and his works have won various photography contests. In 2015, he decided to fully focus on photography combined with image editing.
Sander creates his works using his camera and “digidoka” (as he calls it in Dutch). He draws inspiration from the works of the old masters. Vibrant colours, creativity, and surprising effects are characteristics that define his works and give them a unique character. This is evident, for example, in his floral still lifes combined with vases from the Rijksmuseum. With this technology, he manages to capture the works of the old masters in a unique way. Maybe you’ll also find something surprising in his works – that extra something is what Sander’s works are known for.
While there will be plenty of art to marvel at, we’ll have bites and bubbles to keep it fun and festive, too.
