Join us for the opening of our latest exhibition, “Across A Land of Dying Gods” by Max Taylor.
Step into a world of surrealist artistry and adventurous storytelling with Max, a self-taught artist from Brooklyn and a dedicated non-profit writer. Max, an award-winning, multi-disciplinary creative, is renowned for his mesmerising surrealist oil paintings and his innovative, chemistry-driven darkroom printmaking techniques.
Max’s art and stories take you to places you might never dare to go yourself. Recently, he found himself immersed in the rebel-filled jungles of Nagaland, on the enigmatic border between India and Myanmar. This perilous journey serves as the backdrop for his latest narrative.
Max’s latest collection is inspired by his time spent with the Bedouin Mafia, searching for hidden treasures in the Djinn-guarded tombs of a forgotten Nabataean ghost town. Although he insists they found nothing, those close to him have noticed a peculiar change in his demeanour.
While there will be plenty of art to marvel at, we’ll have bites and bubbles to keep it fun and festive, too.
