In honour of the 89th edition of Boekenweek, the annual celebration of Dutch literature, we’ve teamed up with famed Utrecht-based author Arthur Japin for an afternoon of music and lit. Inspired by his novels Vaslav, Kolja and Wat Stilte Wil, expect music from Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Röntgen and Brahms coupled with readings of fragments from the novels by none other than the author himself.
Pauline Verburg as the Mezzo-soprano, Liduin Wachter with flute and Jeroen Snijder on the piano will be the performing musicians.
