Every year since 1998, the Grachtenfestival has organised more than 200 concerts at over 100 different locations around town. And this year, we’re thrilled to announce they’re coming to Bunk!
Experience the unique sound of Paula Bilá and Mauro Cottone: an enchanting blend of a full Spanish singing voice and the deep, resonant tones of an Italian double bass.
Since their serendipitous meeting in Amsterdam in 2021, the duo has been crafting a distinctive repertoire that fuses their shared passion for jazz, Spanish music, and improvisation, occasionally enriched by Paula’s guitar. In this intimate setting, they explore Paula’s soulful original compositions inspired by her Southern Spanish roots, as well as duo arrangements of obscure jazz standards and beloved Spanish and Latin American songs.
