Ready for a pop of colour? Stop by to take a look at our latest exhibition of paintings created during live sessions at Bunk by Ward Schepman, inspired by the diversity of us all.
Ward Schepman (1978, Meerkerk, The Netherlands) is a music-driven abstract expressionist and a late bloomer in the visual arts. Raised in an artistic family and long active as a creative entrepreneur, he spent years searching for his true form of expression. That search crystallised when Ward and his family hosted a Ukrainian family for a year. While painting and listening to a Ukrainian song on repeat, he allowed his emotions to flow freely onto the canvas. That moment became his artistic revelation. In 2021, he committed fully to his artistic practice, choosing abstract expressionism guided by music, emotion and human connection. His work explores loss, unity and the power of shared humanity.
