Over a series of four events throughout the year, VanzelfSprekend has gathered eight interesting and engaging speakers for gatherings that will challenge you to think and open your heart. Aligning with current themes and societal issues, the substantive programme will deliver impactful talks that will leave you full of energy, insight and new ideas.
With three successful events in the books, it’s time for round three. For the fourth session, ‘Het voordeel van voorordelen” or ‘The Advantage of Prejudices,’ Rico Bakker and Helmi van door will take the stage, with special guest, documentarian Pieter Busman.
In his segment, The Power of a Bad Idea, Rico Bakker shares more about pattern-breaking thinking. How do our brains work when faced with a challenge? And why do we keep coming up with the same solutions? By using unconventional techniques, he demonstrates how a “bad idea” can actually lead to brilliant outcomes.
Together, Helmi and Rico return to the stage in People Watching, delving even deeper into prejudices we are often unaware of and exploring with Rico whether they can turn them into a powerful “bad idea.”
