Tabitha Boekweit is a multidisciplinary artist working with painting and mixed media. Her work explores femininity, identity and emotional layering within contemporary society. Inspired by the concept of gentle power, she creates intuitive, colourful works that invite reflection and dialogue.
“My themes are very close to my heart and connected to our society. It’s all about authenticity, what is humanity searching for, who we are,” says Boekweit. “The work is straightforward and translates into emotions with the help of a large canvas. I strive for tension and layering with the goal to wake up people, start a conversation so everyone can respond to these feelings and tensions in their own way.”
